River Tweed

This River Tweed guided salmon fishing experience provides a top performing professional River Tweed salmon guide for the day (9am to 5pm) who will provide salmon fishing tuition and advice on a personal individual fisher basis or to your private group on a 1 guide per 4 fisher ratio. Valid 1st February to 30th November (excluding Sundays).

The salmon fishing day will consist of Speycasting tuition with a double handed salmon fly rod, how to hook a salmon on the fly, how to effectively fish through a salmon pool along with other useful information on other aspects of Scottish salmon fishing. 

This package includes the salmon fishing permit(s) and the supply of all the required salmon fishing equipment including a salmon fishing fly rod & reel, appropriate & proven salmon flies, chest waders, waterproof jacket and life jacket. All you would be required to bring would be warm clothing, thick socks, a sun hat, sunglasses and a packed lunch.

This fishing experience will provide a quality introduction to Scottish salmon fishing and will be conducted on a productive salmon fishing beat of the River Tweed system in the Borders. A mutually convenient fishing date(s) can be agreed prior to booking by using the 'Contact' form on the main menu bar. Gift voucher recipients can agree their fishing date(s) after they receive their gift voucher (a digital gift voucher(s) will be emailed to the purchaser on the same day as purchase). This River Tweed guided salmon fishing package is available for fishing dates between the 1st of February & the 30th of November each year (Sundays excluded). The salmon fishing day runs between 9am & 5pm with a break for lunch between 1pm & 2pm.
